And you have until NEXT year to get it in!! Do you ever listen to your favorite Five Finger Death Punch song and wonder “Man, I would have a GREAT movie to go with this song?” Well your thoughts now have a place to go! We have a NEW contest for you! We want you to pick your favorite FFDP song off of “The Way of The Fist” and create your very own ORIGINAL movie trailer for it!!

Basically, if there was a movie made about your fav FFDP song what would it be about? Here are the rules:

- Trailers have to be a MINIMUM of 1 minute long and NO LONGER than 3 minutes

- Trailers MUST contain ORIGINAL work – that means no taking clips of existing movies or other copyrighted content

- NO nudity, extreme violence or other questionable material. Think of it as “made for TV” – whatever you WON’T see on tv in a movie trailer DON’T put it in yours

- You MUST include the name of your FFDP song of choice as the background music for the trailer

- You MUST include the name of your “movie” somewhere on the trailer

- Voiceovers and text are OK during your trailer Now you may be thinking I don’t have anything fancy to make a movie trailer YOU DON’T NEED TO! We’re looking for creativity so the opportunities are endless on how you can make your trailer – dress up your friends and film yourselves acting stuff out, use stick figures, animation, use your fingers – whatever you’ve got we’ll take!

Once you’ve created your wonderful work of art, add it to the official Five Finger Death Punch YouTube Group (you must have a YouTube account to enter) at: http://www.youtube.com/groups/fivefingerdeathpunch. Make sure you follow ALL the guidelines as we will be approving which videos are allowed up.

Deadline for submission is January 14, 2008 In the meantime you’ll be able to see entries from everyone throughout the competition and even if you’re not entering you can still leave your support for those who have.

We’ll pick winners after January 14.

About Cyclone Sidr: On November 15th Cyclone Sidr brought winds of up to 150 miles an hour, creating a 15 foot sea surge, devastating coastal regions in Bangladesh. The storm killed approximately 3,500 people, left over 40,000 injured while over 800 people are still missing. 8.5 million people have been affected by the cyclone and tens of thousands of people are still in urgent need of food, shelter, medical supplies and clean drinking water. Music for Relief is responding to the disaster by raising funds for the survivors, thank you for your support.
